...never too late

to blog about our honeymoon!!! i got inspired actually to blog by my vietnamese friend linh, who blogged so many beautiful pictures of her country. It's definitely one country I look forward to going to..

I know its succch a late topic but I figured, I might want to have our honeymoon documented for future reads..

So first stop was Cebu! got a flight from Manila to Cebu via Cebu Pacific.. i actually never experienced a delayed flight from Cebu before.. (don't know if i'm just lucky) and we even won a shirt in the games they do inside the airplane hehe. (most number of 5 peso coins haha! dunno wtf we were doing with those)

After landing in Cebu we got the hotel resort bus to transfer us to Shangrila Mactan.



We were choosing between Plantation Bay and Shangrila Mactan, but what got me was the reviews i read about the buffet in Shangrila which is typically Shangrila... plenty and delicious! hehe. (more about the food later)

and the buffet breakfast i've been raving about!! this was just a little part of it! it was such a looong display of food! i think we ate for more than 2 hours haha!

oh, i got a fever during our honeymoon. bwahahaha. that one sucked haha. but good thing i recovered after a night's sleep. (might be because i overstrained myself trying to beat Pangs in ping pong hihihi) After 2 nights there, we took a ferry boat ride to Bohol! Checked in at Alona something resort (whaat i forgot the name.. its not the expensive one, the Alona palm.. but I know its alona something.. this is why I should've blogged about this earlier arrgh) We stayed there for 3 nights.. (or was it 4 nights? my gooooooooooooooooshh)

I looove the beach at Alona.. only bad thing about it was the Sunset was not on the sea.. I mean.. as you can see below, its on the left side.. still beautiful, though


We took a day tour (its easy to get one just as soon as you arrive.. so many manongs with laminated papers displaying the tours.. just learn how to haggle!)

and that was it! i can say that for those on a budget, bohol is definitely an awesome place to be. we had no pictures of the dolphins we saw (yeaaaaaaaaah we were using my sister's camera and i was afraid to get it wet) .. you have to take an hour's boat ride to Balicasag island .. and on the way to the snorkelling site you see sooooo manyyyyy dolphins.. the dolphins were so playful they would actually jump around the boat and swim with the boat. When we got to Balicasag island, the snorkelling there is just breathtaking. the whole surrounding area around the island was a marine sanctuary.. we just went to the shallow part (sabi nga ni manong.. pag pinoy gusto hanggang dito.. *pointing to his chest* pero ang foreigner, gusto dito *pointing above his head*hehe) it was my first time to snorkel but i really believe its one of the most beautiful snorkelling sites. (and i'd imagine the diving must be heaven!) I regret not buying any disposable waterproof camera huhuhuh. We'll definitely be going to Bohol again!

...random stuff

i know its late, but am quite bored here in the office. actually, bored is not the right word, its lazy. i have so much stuff to do, but i don't feel like doing them. so i'm back here blogging! can't believe i've started feeling lazy even with blogging. *sighs*

7 random things about me:

i'm very ningas cogon. i get really, really excited on an idea but never have the drive to follow through. that's why i can't keep a hobby. i easily lose interest.

i'm probably the only person who actually likes her motorola razr phone. despite the numerous complaints about it, i can't imagine putting anything thicker in my pocket. when i ask people with big phones how they manage to put it in their pockets they will say "oh, i'm not the type who puts their phone in their pocket", i will mutter to myself "that's because you CAN'T". ha!

listening to music in my mp3 player is always exciting. I'm on shuffle mode and half the music i have is something unfamiliar. that's because i usually download by band/artist and will get stuff that haven't been released.

i'm a daddy's girl. i listen to every single of my father's suggestions, it drives my husband crazy.

we live near the red-light district in SG. i'm used to seeing hookers on the street.

i miss watching GMA shows. i miss regine, kyla, janno and most importantly, Eat Bulaga! I miss Jose!!! (you know my dad knew Wang-bu before Bamboo? lol)

i'm watching Pinoy Big Brother and want to head the Oplan Kamatis against Wendy. Arrgh. I swear, if i'm in Pinas, I will go the house and bring banners like "Wendy-monyita" or "Wendy Asal Squatter" or something like that and throw her tomatoes.

Stuff that happened since I last blogged:
1. Held a poker night at our house with my college friends.. Jane, Regi, Celina and of course Anshe. I won the 2nd round so I won 8dollars hehehe!
2. We went to Bintan, Indonesia. It's just a 45 minute ferry ride from Singapore. I liked Bintan, we stayed at Nirwana beach club, it was one of the cheap resorts but it was cool cause we were able to go to the bigger Nirwana resort. Now THAT was beautiful. Pictures to follow.
3. Pangs got promoted! He's now an official IBMer. congrats to you Pangs. (and congrats to me. BWA HA HA HA)
4. I have been smoke free for 37 days now. It started as a bet with my Pangs. A Lacoste bag that i wanted if I stay smokefree for 30 days. But even after the sale, the bag still costs 167 sgd dollars. I started feeling guilty cause that's a looot of money which we could use for tiles in our house! lol! Anyway, I'm still smoke-less. Pangs told me if I can't quit, he's gonna make me call the Hotline for help. haha.
5. Kairita ang boss ko. Major. I don't even know where to start. It can be the way he speaks, or the way he clears his throat every 5 seconds. Or his awful plastic-smile. wahahaha.

currently listening to Sugarfree.. there's something about listening to pinoy bands when you're outside pinas.. makes me appreciate it more.. and it definitely lifts your spirits up and makes you less homesick..

pangs didn't like it, because the 20th episode was so action packed compared to this one.. but i liked it because it touched on silar's character, which is actually pretty interesting. now i know what the blue light he showed us on the 20th episode. its ice!! ha. wonder who he killed for that. i was watching it in the MRT, and the part with Hiro stopping time to kill Silar was some heart-stopping-scary-shit! i think i literally jumped from my seat when silar moved his eyes. wahahah! i'm actually sympathetic of hiro.. i usually get frustrated when some character isn't able to kill a villain.. but in hiro's case, i can actually understand him! cause he's too cute to be a killer,bwahaha. i dont think he's ready to kill. but he has too.. in two days! wahahha! i hope they kill silar in this season (wishful thinking!), and get a new super villain on season 2.

ooh just remembered that its a wednesday.. gotta check rickey.org for the american idol show.. (but i got it recorded, atat lang ako hehe) i like blake!! and jordin! and melinda! so oust lakisha bwahahaha!

just received a slew(?) of tickets. *whoa* no mercy huhuhu. so maybe i need to tell about my work a bit for you to understand my situation. basically we're supporting 100+ servers worldwide. and not only servers, but also users worldwide. this application we're supporting is not just one.. but a different application for every server. and you know what makes this worse? they're using proprietary language so that just basically means ZERO career growth. (unless i work for Shell or another refinery) anyway, that's not what i'm complaining about. we have a so-called dispatcher every week. this dispatcher is in charge of 'dispatching' the tickets (server/user problems), to the team. But we're ALWAYS shorthanded.. so the dispatcher usually dispatches to himself hehe.. but this DUDE.. he dispatches to ME! he already assigned me two priority 1 tickets and then he sends me his two user tickets! i'm like, wtf dude? the user tickets have low priority even if they say "URGENT" in the description field (every user feels his issue is 'urgent') you can still do them even if you're friggin busy. and shutting down services is EASY demmit. it will not take up your friggin time. arggh arrgh arrgh. when this DUDE's the dispatcher, i feel like I"M the dispatcher with all the stress he's giving me. he's giving me all the high priority tickets and ...watdapaaaaaaaaaaak while writing this blog he gave me another frigging p2 ticket. PUTANG INA UH!

ohmyisshhh sooo coooold here in the office *brrrrrrr*.

we have found a place to move in! we'll be moving by May 1. its still far from work (for me) but at least my travel time will probably be lessened by 30 minutes. ha! which means 30 more minutes of sleeping time! BIG DEAL! yep yep! hehe. it was quite frustrating looking for a new flat.. first of all, the rent has gone waaay up (inhumane!) and we couldn't find a 2-room condo for less than 2k/month! of course, we had to have our requirements: has a pool, near mrt, has 2 toilets and generally must be nice. (not old/dirty, furnished, no latrine toilets! eww.) there were 2 flats we already wanted to rent out which we didn't get for 2 different reasons. first one was the agent pissed us off and got us all paranoid of getting swindled, and the next one was we had to compete with an indian couple and the landlord chose that indian couple. (ha. his loss!) there was a unit we liked but it was smack in the middle of the red-light district, and another one we viewed that was too far from the mrt. (and i didn't like that the dining area was away from the TV. hehe!) Finally we went to this really nice condo and just as i entered the unit i said to the agent 'okay, we'll take it' hehe. Jeff and Raymond even asked me 'Are you sure this one is only 1700??" Kasi super bihira talaga kaming makakita ng below 2k na malapit sa mrt kahit 2 bedroom lang. Then we found out that 3 other groups also offered for the condo and we were like "oh nooo, here we go again" but then the landlord chose us! weeee! we even met a filipina dh there and we got her number to work a couple of hours a week to iron clothes. double weeeee! (no more gusot clothes hahaha!) sawa na daw siyang maglakwatsa, magsisideline na lang daw siya hehe.

my dad just texted me: "OK NA TITLE NG HOUSE NNYO! (my dad always texts me in caps hehe) PADALA KO COPY PARA MAINSPIRE KAYO AT LEAST MAYROON NG BUNGA PAGHIHIRAP DYAN" haaay. nalungkot ako na natuwa. why the f*ck do i need to be here just to pay for our friggin house. huhuhu. haay, iniisip ko na lang talaga ay dalawang bagay. 1. basta magkasama kami ni pangs 2. konting tiis lang para mapabilis ang pagbayad. but there are really times when i feel so homesick, nakakadepress. (oh no, *tingin sa taas* don't cry!) my job is haaaay. so stressful. and the people.. haaay. there's only like 2 people who i like here, sam and ms. vivian. all the rest, i don't know.. oh, the students din.. i try not to get too attached to them since they're just here as interns and they'll be leaving on june.. pero huhuhu too late, i'm gonna miss them so much ayaw ko ng isipin na aalis sila. i'm gonna be all alone again with the 2 anaps here.

it takes me a couple of weeks even to write my posts within a post. hay. well i've got an excuse. i'm b u s y. # 1 excuse. next is.. i'm l a z y. *sighs* even blogging which has been a hobby is now something i find so troublesome to do. huhuhu. hmmm. it's april 30 and i'm here in the office. i want to take a leave just like the rest of my colleagues (arrgh. hate that word. i've only used it HERE. another word i have only used HERE.. expedite. haha). and i'm definitely hating my boss here.. he can't take 'yes' as an answer... LITERALLY. cause he wants me to freaking say "CAN"!! here's an example

ARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHH. please stop me from barfing. i'm trying all my might not to jump the 'can' wagon, but honestly, if it stops my boss from bugging me then i'll say "CAN" the whole friggin time even if it makes my skin crawl.

let's just focus on the good news. Pangs called me and said he got a raise!! a whopping 1+k raise! i'm so happy for us. hahaha. "US" ano, not him. hehe. syempre, his money is my money as well, hahahahaha! he earned it, he has stayed here for a year already.

another good news, we moved to the new house already! (al-re-diiiiiiii) we just moved yesterday so everything is still in chaos but we'll get there. didn't realize we had sooo much stuff amongst the 4 of us. we were able to fill up a 10-feet truck! moving is definitely tiring, so its not something i'm looking forward to doing every couple of years. imagine how much stuff we've accumulated by then. ha.

jeff and anshe are now in IKEA (so envious!) buying some stuff for the house.. tutal Anshe's not blogging so i'll spoil the news for her. noooo, she's not preggy or anything like that hahaha. they got a cool new laptop! a freakin' sony Vaio. hihihi. sukoiii!!

hmm.. what else. i'm here killing time 'cause i'm so not in the mood to work. but i got assigned 3 tickets so i've got no choice, but at least they're so called monitoring tickets so i don't really have to stare at them while they run. you know, i'm holding a record since i got here.. only 1 sick leave since i started last december.. oh my god. that's a lifetime achievement award for me. i usually have 1 sick leave a month! twice a month if i can pull it off. now because of the freakin rule here (you have to have a doctor issue you a medical certificate for you to get a day off from work.. just for one friggin day!) now i realize how healthy i am. hahahahaha. i couldn't really tell while i was in Pinas because of the many times i faked being sick. LOL.

oh, and we're so pinoy big brother addicts now. (i'm gonna start ranting so those who cannot relate, please skip this portion) i'm haaaating maricris. for the love of god someone just evict her and put her in a mental institution. throw nel in with her for his 'pagkukunsinti', demmit. pleaseeee let her bang her head on the wall, she needs it! (end of rant)

wow.. i think i was able to kill some time here.. bweheheh good. i sooo want to go home already. (maybe take a bath again in our glorious bathtub?) lol. (darnit, naririnig pala kami nila anna haha)

...super late update

yeah, i'm still alive. work has been absuuuurdly busy, its inhumane. i don't know how anyone survives here in SG..

too tired to write down anything (waaah, iba na toh!) so i'm going to run a quick recap:

1. went home at feb 23 ( i think).. sorry sa mga hindi ko nameet.. was only there for 4 days, but still so fun. what did i do? shop! wahaha..i think i spent a total of 500 sgd in that span of 4 days (but that also includes pakain sa mga tao.. but still, waaah!) was v.happy to see our house again *akaps house*

2. parents and ate chary visited here in singapore last march 14. now, THAT was fun. though i wasn't able to spend the whole time they were here (had to freakin work), we were still able to go to sentosa together. i think my dad liked the musical fountain! dad also liked our hdb, para kasing suburbs tong tinitirhan namin, tas he liked that 4 lang na unit ang asa floor namin, para daw condo hehe! i miss them now huhuhu.

3. pangs bought a 320 gb external hd! only for 180bucks! now we've used up 100gb already with my japanese/english videos wahahaha! we saw this insanely priced 1.5 TB.. but we were choosing between a 320gb and the 500gb, we later choose the 320 because of the price (500gb i think cost 250bucks.. not sure) and we thought it will take us a long time to fill this up, but after just one night he already filled up 100gb wahaha. hopefully its only because we were excited hehe. now i'm able to copy all of Lynh's One Piece videos (japanese anime.. up to 200+ episodes!!)

4. this week i'm on training so its sorta rest from work. last sunday i had to go to the office and do some DST change for the europe servers. good thing all my teammate gurus were also there so it was (i assume) an error -free patching. not really sure cause as i've said, i'm in training, without even access to our lotus notes. (buti rin!)

5. we're planning on moving on May. we've had some run in with some weirdo agents but hopefully, we'll still be able to find a decent place to move in. its kinda hard because we like our hdb so we have high expectations when we check out a place and we realize how small some condo units are compared to our hdb. ho-hum.

6. watching a lot of prison break, smallville (i'm downloading it as soon as the new episodes are available) heroes and house md. still depressed over The OC but i'll get over it.

7. i miss pinas. t r u l y. locals here are so mareklamo. honestly, the things they make a big fuss of are so ridiculous.... closing orchard road for f1 racing, big big ferris wheel that's an eyesore for some...no seatbelts in buses (wtf?) i miss our easy-go-lucky kababayans. i even miss the weird campaign commercials. wahaha. can't believe i won't be able to vote, tsk tsk tsk. and i hate my english. my english really sucks wahahaa. i feel so illiterate. haaay. kakamiss magtagalog.

this week was the performance night of the top 24 guys and girls.. bottom line, guys sucked, girls rule! (and white girls can't sing.. harhar) i liked the last girl, she was waaay too awesome. Now I have these super high expectations from her so she better be good at every single night. The guys were just plain mediocre. Even my favorite, Chris Sligh, wasn't that good. I guess his voice isn't really that extraordinary (oh well, he still has his humour). I've been reading his blog and his favorite band is Muse (we're the same! hehe) that's why I liked him. I also liked the Black backup singer guy but his Rock With you performance was very iffy. I mean, even if its a great song, he just didn't sing it THAT well. I dunno. The last guy was just plain lucky. He was able to stand out with his okay performance of Edwin Mccain's I could not ask for more just because the other guys performed so dismally. All the black girls sang great. The white girls just didn't cut. I'm so disappointed that the Antonella girl (who sang I don't wanna miss a thing) didn't get eliminated. She is soooo ready to go. I had to fast forward her performance because I was embarassed for her. The guy who sang Keane was so-so, but again, he stood out because at least he sang a modern song. and I haaated the guy who sang the Gavin degraw song.. ekk, he sounded like Mickey Mouse who got his tail stepped on or something. Anyway, it sure feels like a girl's gonna win it this time. I liked Lakisha (unbelievable performance) and the girl backup singer (who's sooo sweet. and she's so likeable)
It's been pretty busy at work, you can't believe I worked last sunday for 12 hours. demmit. At least i got 150sgd bucks for it. (underpaid!) But now I'm looking for a vacation. So I'll end this blog with this song..

hate mondays. i always miss my bus during mondays. i'm always a minute late. and it means seeing my boss again who really irritates the hell out of me. seriously. he's one of those awful bosses you can't respect because he knows nothing. zilch. nada. but on the other hand, he's less scary because of that. imagine if he's actually intelligent. combine that with his attitude of kakulitan. eww scary. so i guess this is better. i'm not gonna complain anymore that he's a dimwit. harhar.

i met mich last night! actually,.. it was this morning, at 1:30 am hehe. we went to geylang, where they're staying over with some friends. mich gave me my pasalubongs (woohooo thanks mich!). i wasn't able to meet them while they were touring.. it was really too bad because they even went to a park/resort which is really near our place. (i could take my bike) yeah, sayang. anyways, it was great seeing her again. salamat sa liver spread at ajiginisa! harharhar!

i wanna go home already. ate ging is dating someone american. and he's going to see my family on the first week of february. too baddddd i won't be able to meet him. tsk tsk. i'm happy ate ging is dating! wish ate chary will follow suit. but i guess it's okay, at least she can take care of mom and dad more. well, i hope she really does take care of them. hay. i miss my parents, especially my dad. huhuhu.

anyway, enough of that, don't want to dwell on sad things. my housemate just left (huhuhu, goodbye baby iyah) so it's just now me and raymond, anshe and jeff and jun. we're now occupying the master bedroom.. it's bigger but not necessarily better. harhar. first of all, i don't like that it's carpeted. (awful carpet at that) means we have to vacuum it. arrgh. and also hate that there's only one cabinet, unlike our room which had so much storage space, we actually have 4 ledges we could put our junk on. so yesterday we had to buy a 99 dollar cabinet at IKEA just so we could have someplace to put our 4-ledges-junk. gastos! but IKEA is always fun, we bought some cheap kitchen stuff, the cabinet, and a folding mini-table which is similar to what we use back at Pinas when we wanted to eat in front of the TV. now we're using this as my laptop table. we can actually add a tabletop on the cabinet we bought but it was out of stock so the folding table will do for now. perhaps later (after sweldo harhar). the good thing about the new room is having our own toilet. no more waiting for TP to finish sa CR. hahaha joke lang tp, labyu. i'm not worried about cleaning it 'cause that's raymond's thing. hahaha. mwah@pangs. labyu din. LOL. and also, great news for all our friends/relatives. come visit us at singapore! you can now stay at our flat, yahuuu. there's now an extra room (the one that TP and jeff used to occupy) so you can stay with us. all you have to do is bring us pasalubong from pinas harharhar. we're okay with polvorons, or becky's kitchen's brownies. or any thing from goldilocks. especially the packed bopis, dinuguan and lechon paksiw. harharhar. punta na keyu!

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoey yahoey. i sooo wanna go home already. i'm just so tired. i've been doing so much actual work now its really tiring wahahah. ooh, my mom sent me an MMS of what dad did in their garden..


tada! cool, right? when i'm sad here in the office.. i just look at this picture and imagine my dad actually doing it. it never fails to bring a smile on my face wahaha. i told dad he should do one for OUR garden

ei, good news. we are officially the owner of the house and lot in Antipolo. Yahooey! my dad sent me this text message: "GOOD NEWS. MEH TITULO NA ANG LUPA NYO. BAD NEWS: KELANGAN KO NG MAGBAYAD SA FEB 14. POOR NA AKO HUHUHU" LOL! Hopefully by next month or something we'll be able to double our pay to dad so that he won't feel poor anymore hehe. (ooh, missing my dad again... *think happy thoughts*)

ginawa pa akong secretary. bwiset. LOL! I thought he was going to give me a SWI or something, gagawin lang pala akong secretary. I also asked him if i could be included in this training.. he gave me a vague answer. Iniisip ko na lng, sana nga pag nagtraining for .NET masama ako. 'Cause they're planning on migrating our application to the Web. Sana! (they still use Access for their forms!) Anyway, i contacted another company, not informatics. At least I was able to surf the Internet with permission bwahaha.

Will post this already.. ei I can post this here! yey! Oh yeah, I watched American Idol pala. So far i like the weirdos. The Jesus lookalike, the fat guy with curly hair whose dream was to make David hasselhof cry again (plus he sang Kiss from a Rose.. looove that song!).. and I also like the black back-up singer. I'm excited for Hollywood week to start! woohoo!

Also watching a new Jdrama, c/o one of the interns here. It's called 1 litre of Tears.. cause you'll literally cry that much while watching this. I swear, I'm trying not to cry while watching it on the MRT! i actually sniffle! its so sad and the main character is so endearing and pretty. Just try and watch this, i recommend it. (ayan ria, recommendation uh. Also watched Hana Yori Dango, the japanese version, Boku something Madonna and Kimi something Petto.. haha sorry, these japanese titles are confusing!) oooh meh cable na kami! we got entertainment (starworld/axn) tas educational (discovery etc) tas kids(disney/cn/nick) tas sports (espn/star sports) tsaka TFC (para sa Sana Maulit Muli! mwahhaha *certified Kimerald fan* na ko!) i think there's been a mistake though, 'cause we're still able to watch HBO, CNN.. 2 groups that we didn't get.. syempre i won't complain, just hope they're not stupid enough to bill us for that. hehe. cable here is super expensive! all in all we'll be paying 60 dollars a month for that. ooh, and i also got the smart tv HEHE. (ang gastos nga haha) its like the Tivo here in SG. 'cause since there are weeks that i'll be working til evening, i won't be able to watch Sana Maulit Muli ahahahha! (todo na toh).. my first excuse was American Idol, but I found out that it has a 11:30 pm so i could probably catch that one. pero yung Sana Maulit Muli, di ko alam eh hehe. so yun na lang! so far, i like the recorder, just wished that the 'per show' feature eh, meh frequency option din. Napipili ko lang kasi yung show, pero hindi ko pwedeng sabihin na Daily or M-F or something like that. So I have to use the 'time' feature, lalagay ko yung oras tas meh frequency nga. like daily, 9:30-10:00 para keh Kimerald hehe. Ay yung frequency din meh reklamo ako.. kasi yung VHS namin sa bahay, pwedeng every Sunday/Monday/Tuesday etc, pwedeng M-F, pwedeng whole week, etc.. Itong Smart TV pwede lang Daily (meaning monday - sunday).. di ko maalala kung pwedeng per Day. basta, alang Monday - Friday lang. anyhoo, ang linaw ng cable hehe! lolz. hindi ako sanay kasi sa pinas kahit cable, medyo malabo! harharhar. kakasplitter siguro hihihi.

we've got visitors here, our boss' boss' boss. ay umuwi na pala yun kahapon. naiwan yung release manager. mabait namin, kamukha nya si santa claus hahaha. pagdating ko ng quarter to 12, nakita ko siya mag isa sa area namin, tas inalok ko mag lunch, kaya nakausap ko ng konti sa queue sa canteen. pag upo kasi namin, sinamahan na kami ng manager eh, syempre usapang trabaho na sila. eh ako nagtatanong lang ako about belgium. sa taas daw, pero dutch ang language, sa southern part daw, french. siya daw dutch pero marunong siyang magfrench.

ei, nag one year na kami ni pangs!! last Jan 21 ang aming first year anniv. nakakatuwa kasi nahanap ni pangs dito yung gusto naming restaurant sa pinas, yung nanbantei! merong nanbantei sa far east na mall sa orchard. katawa nga eh, unang pagpasok namin sa mall.. tinginan kami ni pangs kasi luma yung mall, ala Lucky Plaza.. tas parang "meron bang nanbantei dito?" lol! pero meron nga, sa 5th floor! as in same franchise ng asa greenbelt. ang sarap talaga dun hehehe. thanks pangs!

i finally received my last paycheck at my previous work. so so happy. now we're able to pay off 2 months worth of house amortization AND other utility stuff we still pay (like cable, meralco, manila waters). at least we're debt free for 2 months! woohoo! and i'll be able to give 2k to daddy.. that's my contribution to his new rockport shoes.. tinext nya yun saken eh ehhehe "MAY NAKITA AKONG ROCKPORT SHOES. SALE. 3+K. DIBA WALA KA PANG CHRISTMAS GIFT SAKEN. MAGKANO CONTRIBUTION MO?" ehehe ayush anu. ganyan kami sa pamilya eh, mas nadadalian kami kung sabihin mo na lang kung ano gusto mong gift kesa manghula pa kami.

last sunday i also attempted to do some post-christmas shopping for my family, but i was only to buy a bag for ate chary. Si aTe chary na naman! eh meh regalo na ako sa kanya eh, pero 10 dollar bag lang sa seiyu eh nahiya naman ako kaya binilan ko ng iba hahaha. wasn't able to buy a blouse for ate ging, either super mahal or super panget hehe. haaay. this weekend, attempt ulit ako.

i'm doing some work na dito sa work. hehe. that's why i'm not that diligent to blog everyday anymore. wow, busy na ako anu. hehe. i was able to close tickets today! pero hindi ko pa talaga kinoclose. lolz. i asked the other pinoys here , bakit ayaw mo pa iclose? kasi syempre dun sa dati kong work, panget pag marami kang open tickets.. pero dito, ayaw nilang iclose hanggang maari. yun pala, pag nakikita daw kasi na konti na lang ticket mo, pasa daw ng pasa sayo. kaya gusto nilang marami ang asa queue nila. lolz. crazzzyyyyy. pero susundin ko sila heeheh. grabe dito. bakit ganun? lolz.

ay, about the cable, ala na yung hbo, cnn namin. sad. pinatikim lang kami hehe. but i still enjoy sana maulit muli tsaka yung medical detectives sa discovery. oooh, and i was able to watch ASAP last sunday, so that was cool.

laaapit na ko umuwiii. yahuuuu. We had new visitors again, mga bossing from UK and US. Because of that, yesterday we had a company dinner and ate at Meritus Mandarin. Food was great, we had lobsters, oysters, prawns, sashimi etc. I also liked the dessert buffet, but I liked the appetizers even better! I love smoked salmon, salads oysters (already mentioned that, hehe) etc.

My TL is in the panic mood again. Seems like they got emailed by the supervisor of the interns here. Like where's their access etc, why it's taking too long etc. I was the one who is handling the ticket and the bottom line is, there's nothing i can do about it. They don't have access to certain folders so that's another group's problem. Good thing I had documented about it, did a follow-up etc because my TL kept on bugging me about it and even made me call the other group while he was listening. (parang bata!) I was sitting on his area waiting for the other group to pick up (we were on hold) when one of our visitors, the manager of the north america team saw me and said "Have you been a bad girl? Why are you there?" and I said "I'm in the principal's office" and now they call my TL "The Principal" because of that. hahahhaahahaha. Kasi naman gusto pang asa tabi ako niya..kaya ko namang tumawag sa desk ko nohhh.. b w i s e t.

Mich is here! will meet her this weekend (meh pinabili ako eh! yahuu!) excited aku makita siya.

i have a freakin' stiff neck. it hurts sooo much. it's my 2nd day already, it has improved a little, at least i could move my head to the left already! my head is still permanently tilted to the right, though. it looks like i'm always inquiring or something. at least it makes me look interested. harhar. ooh demmittttt. i just tried, you know, untilting my head.. i tried to straighten it and i got this SHOOTING pain that is so extremely painful. huhuhu. why the fuck did i attempt that. i drank my last dolfenal and mefanamic acid's the only one working for me so far. wa epek ang ibuprofen/paracetamol. kapag bukas meron parin, mag m-mc na talaga ako!

i'm feeling much much better. TG! I don't think i can endure the pain anymore. I still have the "inquisitive" look but at least, my shoulder/back of neck doesn't hurt anymore.

I've been watching japanese series lately, much to the influence of my housemate Raya. She introduced me to Yami P,the guy at Kurosagi. After that i watched Hana Yori Dango and now I'm watching Stand Up!. Stand Up's pretty funny, puro kalokohan. it's a bunch of adolescent boys who all have one objective, to get laid for that summer. they're teased as the 4D, D as in do-te as in Virgins. Japanese comedy is kinda similar to ours, the slapstick kind, but i still find myself laughing on my owm at the MRT hehe.

today is an eventful day because this is the day that i got reprimanded for being late. wahaha. first time in all my professional life that i got reprimanded for being late. demmit. lolz. i guess i thought i can't be noticed, so i got a bit forgetful and wasn't that mindful of the time. sabi pa nya, palagi daw ako late. nyahaha. ang layo pa ng pinanggalingan nun. first he asked where i lived. then he asked what time the first mrt leaves in the nearest station. then he asked how long it takes from home to work. then he asked how long the bus arrives. then he asked me if i know what time do the analysts have to arrive here in the office. THEN came the question why i was "ALWAYS" late. nyahahah. all i could say was "sometimes i would miss the bus" then came the rebuttal, "but that is not an excuse" so what more can i say but "you're right." wahaha. tsk tsk. i guess i have to make my waking time 10 minutes earlier now. (ANG BIG DEAL UH) kasi naman hindi naman ako naleleyt ng sobra sa 15 minutes noh. my gosh. keinish.

a colleague will be leaving soon and i think they're gonna make me go to work on a 12pm-9pm shift. I asked pangs and said 'is that good news or bad news?'.. still don't know the answer.. good thing is i can sleep more in that shift, probably can wake up around 9am and leave at 1015am. bad news of course is, i'll be getting home at 10:30 pm. But good news too is that i can take a cab and have the fare reimbursed. Bad news is i don't know if they'll allow me to reimburse a fare from here to our house! anyway, i think it'll be better in the long run because i don't get to sleep at 10pm anyway, i usually sleep around 12pm.. so if i arrive home at 10:30pm, hopefully i'll be able to sleep around 12pm too. so the longer i sleep, the better.

the chikitings are nice (as pangs calls the students here). they're not singaporeans, they moved here 3 years ago to study, so we can all whine about stuff that we hate about SG hehe. plus it's really nice to have someone to talk to when i'm here at my desk.

ayan uh, i got in at 8:55 AM. wasn't able to login sa Sametime sa Lotusnotes('cause i have a theory that this is where my TL checks if we're already in the office) because the support guy arrived just as i was logging in and did something on my pc so bahala na. icheck nya yung time log hmpft. still can't believe it took me almost 2 hours to get here. left at 7:10AM! the buses where unbelievably slow this morning.

bingo # 2. b w i s e t. ano toh, daily habit? i got 'scolded' again by my TL kasi bakit daw nag eemail ako sa mga approver to approve my access request when the request was only sent today. arrggh. eh last time sabi nya ie-mail ko daw yung mga approvers to introduce myself eh. edi nagintroduce nga ako saying i'm ann blah blah, i'm a new member of the support team blahblah tas syempre dun sa email sinabi ko na rin na pakiapprove yung request. arrrggh. kasi meh bwiset na thailander na atrabida. yung isang sinendan ng access admin na email for approval eh hindi na pala siya ang owner ng site, iba na. last August pa siya nalipat ng pwesto. eh hindi ko naman malalaman yun diba, dapat alam ng access admin kung sino ang mga owners ng site. so nagusual email ako na i'm ann blah blah please approve blah blah. tas nagreply yung inimail ko, saying na hindi na siya yung owner tas binanggit nya yung pangalan, let's call her Pokwang, na sinabi na nya keh Pokwang na ayusin yung documentation para matanggal na name nya at malagay na yung name ng pumalit sa kanya as site owner. tas etong si POKWANG, sabi ba naman, "Sorry about it I have no idea where she got your name from" yung 'She' dun, meaning me! eh Hello, asa thread ng email eh na ang unang nagsend ng email is yung access admin keh ex-site owner. grrr bwisit. no idea amputs. hellow are you blind. lolz. keinish. /me sakal *pokwang* yung kapalpakan mo, pinapasa mo saken uh. b w i s e t. bwisit din si TL. ano buh tlaga kuyuh? to mail or not to mail, that is the question. hay. eeewan.malamang bukas din meh mga email ako na ganon, baka makulitan saken yung mga site owner huhuhuh.

naiinis parin ako. chineck ko yung email ng access admin at kung kelan ako nagpadala ng 'intro' email sa site owner. this was the email where my TL told me to send an 'intro' email nga. same day din kaya! hay naku. sinabi kaya saken ng butihing TL ko na "oh, you should send them an email and introduce yourself chuva chenes" bwisit.

its so quiet here in the office. i'm at the east wing, where most of the employees are on the day shift. today was eventful because i did some official work! hehehe. i contacted users heehee. i wasn't able to close a ticket though, one user said he hasn't found the time to try our resolution and will contact me as soon as he does and the other was busy. hehe. so wala parin akong nagawa. at least i was able to update the log of the ticket. "contacted user but was busy." lol!

nakakaantok pala pag gabi. nyahaha. tsaka parang mas mabagal ang oras.. buti nga hanggang 8 lang ako ngayon dahil friday.. panu pag hanggang 9 na!

Wow, 2007 na ba talaga? Happy New Year to everyone! Hopefully, I'll be able to post this blog with pictures of stuff we did on the holidays.

Ei.. got a new bike! K a t u w a. it's pink. (bleh@jane) Yesterday we went to the park. The boys stayed at the court to play basketball, tas kami ni Anshe ikot ikot to bike. Sandali lang, kasi parang uulan na eh, pero sana maulit hehe. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na hindi pala ako marunong magbike harharhar. I can't turn on my right. (sorry, cannot pala) Puro kaliwa lang.. i dunno, i guess its something to do with how comfortable I feel shifting my weight on the left haha. Ewan, basta, marami na akong muntik madisgrasya dahil sa pagturn haha.

Anyway, back in the office, katamad parin. My TL is here na, from his vacation. Isa lang comment ko. Katakot siya. AS in. it's probably his demeanor, he's scary. and he expects me to know what he's talking about right away. Hay. Sabi nila ganun talaga siya. Scary parin. I can easily imagine kung pano siya magagalit. wahaha. Baka manginig na lang tuhod ko.

Onga pala, ang corny ng new year dito. I think the fireworks was at Marina square lang. Or someplace else. Basta, hindi kasi kami umalis, nagluto sila housemates again. So ang dami naming foodie hehe. Meh leche flan pa at Maja c/o Anshe. ang sarap gwabe. Pwede gawing career nila TP hehe. So order keyu samen, okey? lolz. Back to the fireworks, there was a show televised for the countdown at Vivo City, tapos ano buh, alang fireworks. WATDA? asa TV tas alang fireworks? parang party poppers lang ata ginamit kainish. Kakamiss talaga pinas. Nung tumawag mga housemates namin sa pinas, hindi na magkaintindihan dahil sa ingay nung paputok. Samen dito, kami lang ang maingay! lol! Sinarado nga namin pinto kasi nagvivideoke kami, baka ipapulis pa kami sa ingay hahaha. We still tried to follow some tradition, (syempre ako tumatalon parin ako haha, umaasa pang tumangkad? ano buh.) like yung 13 bilog na fruits. Grabe uh. Naka 20 dollar ako kagad dun, lol. Ang mahal, prutas lang hehe. Tag da-dalawa lang binili ko uh, umabot parin ng 20 dollar. Bakit nga ba ulit 13 na bilog? hehe.

30 minutes na lang uwi na ako. (woohoo!) titigan ko na lang ulit Monitor ko dito.

ano buh, tinype ko kanina sa month eh "December", hehe. January na nga pala. I wanna go home sa February! Basta, come what may,uuwi ako sa Chinese New Year. Monday and Tuesday, holiday yun, so sana makadagdag ako ng 1 pang araw. Still waiting for my manager, though, don't want to ask my TL, he's too scary hehe.

yey lapit na ko uwi. still got nothing to do. I wrote a very late christmas list to help keep me awake. I was awaken by how long it is, harhar. I remember back sa pinas, 5k ang budget ko, para sa LAHAT na yun,lol! kaya ko kayang gawin yun? i don't think so kasi si daddy humihingi ng wireless headphone na meh noise reduction ek ek so 100dollar na siguro kagad yun haha! Anyway, speaking of daddy, i called him up (nainip na ako, gusto ko ng malaman kung ano anong dvd meron siya) and he said meh MI3 daw, the new Pirates movie, Rocky 6 at marami pang iba. Will definitely have to google pano yung easiest way to copy those sa harddisk and be able to play them directly sa HD without converting them to divX or something. Baka alam nyo, leave me a message uh. There's a box (dunno what it's called) we saw sa Funan Mall, looks like it'll be the solution. Parang cover siya ng harddisk tas meh video out ek ek siya (about 100sgd) baka yun yun. still have to research for it.

TGIF!! can't wait to ride my bike hahaha. or to sleep! or to watch Youtube! wahaha kala mo kung ano ang plano eh. We saw a condo ad (irene showed us, demmit irene, lol! joke!) that sounds like a good deal, 1200 for a 2bedroom condo unit. waaaaah, kung kelan nagdecide na kami na tapusin na namin yung april before lumipat (para hindi kami magipit sa pera) tapus papakita samen yun waaah can't help na masayangan. tsk tsk. anyhoo. next time na lang talaga, salamat parin irene, at least alam namin na posible talagang meh mura-murang condo pa rin. Tama si jane, super taas na nga ng rent, as in nakakainis. there's no real good reason for them to spike up the rent. nambibwisit lang tlga sila hehe. ang layo ng tinaas kasi, mga hdb, parang condo na ang prices, bwiseeet.

i know now how much exactly it costs me to go to the office every morning... it's 3.15 SGD. (mahaaal!) i thought i wouldn't make it cause i only had 3.7 in my ezlink card, good thing you get a rebate when you transfer from the mrt to the bus (50 cents! wow! haha! babaw!). Now i'll have to buy a single journey ticket 'cause i only have 5 dollars with me. you can only top up a minimum of 10 dollars in the card. at least i was able to make it here in the office! so i probably spend about 5 dollars each day for transpo.. (including office to home) it's cheaper pag pauwi because of the company bus.

awhile ago i had an informal training from one of the people here.. he's indian and such a faaast talker. i could barely understand what he was saying, not to mention he was like eating his words. arrggh. he asked me "do you have any questions?" i could only say "nope". you know the meaning of that, right? its either you didn't understand one little thing or you understood it all. i'm afraid in my case it was the former. wahaha. i asked him to send me the powerpoint slide so i hope that helps.

i'm on my 3rd week now at work, but still no access on anything. ho-hum. I guess that's good news uh, still have nothing to do. I think I'll be like this until January. I'll be attending a formal training (lucky me, none of the other pinoys were able to go to one) for 1 week on january 8-12 and it's a whole day thing so that means no work for me again. (hurrah? hindi ko na alam!!) I'm getting really bored na, tas ang taaagaaaaaal ng oras my gosh.

I attempted to go to HB and ask something about my access but I realized it's already 5:03PM and i'm planning on leaving by 5:30.. i'm not supposed to, pero wala naman akong ginagawa! i don't think anyone will notice since my workstation's awayyy from everybody else's. It'll probably take more than 30 minutes to troubleshoot whatever's bugging my ODBC connections. Anyway, I'll try again tomorrow. If it still doesn't work, then I'll ask.

We're going to start viewing flats today. We're just looking at hdbs for now, they're the cheaper ones. hopefully it's near an MRT, so it could justify the high prices at least. We'll be viewing 2 flats, one at the West side, the other at North West side. Pangs said to not keep my hopes high since he has experienced seeing dirty/ugly flats before. But i'm hoping the West one is at least clean, because it's supposed to be near the MRT. anyhoo, we'll know later.

I'm starting to feel a bit weird here at the office. I dunno.. weird in a sense that i'm left out or something. you see, the pinoys in our team are not allowed to group together.. a while later, we were even told to speak english when we talk amongst ourselves. (gosh watda diba) Anyway, that's not my complaint.. it's the pinoys din. particularly these 2 chinese pinoys, they keep talking and talking and when I ask something, they sometimes ignore my question, like i'm not there or they didn't hear me. And it's hard when they talk about other officemates in Tagalog (kaya kami pinagbabawalang maggrupo eh, kasi puro ganon ang usapan), they won't tell me who they're talking about. Dati nangungulit pa ako, now, after one question na "Sino?" then they say something like it's for me to find out, I just say "okay". I guess tama rin ginagawa nila para hindi ako maging prejudiced dun sa pinagkukwentuhan nila. I don't know, maybe I'm a bit paranoid because i was so hungry already. (We were waiting for the other pinoy) I guess, tinatancha ko pa ugali nila. Pero I'll shut up na rin muna. I'll go eat with the Chinese. hehe.

today is ate chary's birthday.. Happy Birthday ate!!!

Yesterday we went to see a couple of hdb flats. The first one sucked bigtime. It was dirty, had latrine toilets (yung asa baba, yung bowl lang tas magsqusquat ka para magwiwi. wahahah no way.) the second one was waaay better, newly renovated, all new furniture and appliances. Catch is, super mahal. 1200 for a hdb flat!? no way din! Tas 1 bedroom lang talaga. 2 room siya, pero the other room was smaller. I guess 2 bedroom na rin, pero unit was still small. Now I realize how nice our hdb flat is. I thought dati, bulok siya, maganda pala compared to others haha! first, the old hdbs here, yung elevator, hindi lahat ng floors! kunwari, ang elevator is for 1st, 3rd, 6th level lang. Then you have to use the stairs for other levels. Tapos yung latrine toilets nga. (nyeknyeks) Plus, our hdb flat pala is huge compared to others. 4 bedroom flat kasi siya, tapos malawak yung common space (living room, dining, kitchen). And, infront of our hdb, meh mini-gym, meh playgrounds pa (with S kasi 2 hehe). I received another email from an agent today, I think condo siya, pero baka hindi na namin tingnan kasi, ang mamahal. February pa siguro kami makakalipat, konting tiis lang muna ako para hindi naman kami magipit dahil lumipat kami ng bahay.

i'm so sleepy that i'm getting cross-eyed because of this. ser-ious-ly. i'm all alone here in my workplace, but i don't want to get caught by anyone sleeping. its a bit weird at first, working here in SG. sometimes, after waking up (okay, okay, antok na antok ako talaga ehhhh) to their chinese conversations, nagugulantang ako. Like.. asan ako? Bakit hindi ko maintindihan sinasabi? Then i remember where I am and hope that no one saw me sleeping. Makes me miss my previous work and officemates. At least there, i get to sleep during lunch harhar. There's so much stuff to get used to here.. the spicy food,(but at least our food is cheap, that's a
pro), writing in DD/MM/YYYY format.. (who does that? apparently, this whole country), their accent, (sorry? sorry? what was that?).. and speaking english all day. s u c h a hassle. lolz. really. i can't even deliver a good joke on english. harhar. you know what i mean? like example.. you wanna say "halos nalaglag puso ko sa takot" you can't translate that literally to "my heart almost fell ek ek", i might sound stupid so i just say "i was so frightened" but i feel nawawala yung essence ng aking pagkatakot. haha. and expressions like "walangyaaa" or "grabe namannn, now i'm just "haha. yeah,..that difficult uh?" L O L. Alang kwenta. Meh
naisip pa akong isa.. like "makalaglag panty!" LOL. can you just imagine how i
will say that. "My panty fell." or "Panty-faller" hahaha. hay.

so hungry-lah. I just texted Daddy, asking him to email the Power of Attorney letter so I could sign it (it's for my last pay at CAI) then snail-mail it back to him. He replied and said he couldn't do it tonight because they're going to fetch Ate Ging at the airport. Nalungkot ako dun, kasi nainggit ako. I'm gonna spend Christmas for the first time ever without my parents, without the comforts of home.. Home meaning, Pinas. Mamimiss ako ng mga inaanak ko. haha. I've always been a diligent godmother, wala akong nakakalimutan uh! Tsaka hindi ako kuripot ehehe. Konti pa lang kasi,kaya i can afford not too. But wait, dumami na ata. There's Siege (yeah, as in Under Siege), Liam, Maureen and Iel. Wow, 4 lang ba talaga? Will have to clarify keh Mommy, hehe. konti lang pala. Anyway, I've started looking at toys here, they're pretty expensive, baka sa pinas na ako bumili hahaha!

Time for lunch, but no one's asking me yet. ho-hum. I wanna eat na!! Yayain nyo na ko please!

15 minutes to go before my informal training starts. I'm staying awake with the help of Yeng Constantino's Hawak Kamay. Napakatalentado ng batang ito. I swear, it's a really, really good song. Melody and lyrics, ang galing. Hindi predictable yung melody, basta maganda talaga. This is one of the few songs na unang rinig ko pa lang, nagandahan na ako. I thought a pro composed the song, siya pala. Gusto ko rin yung isang kanta nya na Pangarap Ko. Galing, she deserves to be the winner ng Pinoy Dream Academy. Gagastusan ko siya pramis haha. I got my picture taken today for my ID. Hopefully I get it next week. Grabe. Pasko na pala sa Monday! Meh kris kringle kami ngayon sa bahay, kakatawa si Jeff ni Anshe sobra. After reading nung nabunot nya, sabi ni Izar, "bakit pagkain? pwede ba ang pagkain!?" Edi wala sameng mashadong nagreak.. eto namang si Jeff, sabi, "HINDI BA PWEDENG PAGKAIN??" L O L. nalaman tuloy na siya, nagbunutan ulit kami. kasi naman, kung makareak eh, hindi man lang pasimple lolz. Nakakatawa pa yung sinulat nya.. sabi ni Izar "Chocolate. Pwedeng meh almond. Huwag yung may wafer. Pwede rin ang
Milk Chocolate. Wag lang kisses chocolate" or something like that. Basta ang haba haba pa ng requirements, hahahaha. Hindi na lang sabihin kung anong tatak ng chocolate ang gusto eh hahaha. Patawa talaga. The next day, there was a note on the kitchen, "Sa nakabunot ng sandals. Size 8 po. Boy po ako" LOL. Patawa talaga tong mga housemates ko hahaha. Yun ang mamimiss ko eh, pag lumipat kami ng bahay. Nahihirapan na kasi akong gumising eh. 2 hours ang allowance ko dapat sa biyahe! Grabeeh. Pag naging 8am pa pasok ko, di ko alam pano ako gigising. Si Pangs sinasabayan nya pa ko, kasi ang dilim pa eh! wahahah scary. Dito kasi, halos 7am na lumiliwanag. Siya tagatakbo ko pag andun na bus namin harhar. Was able to call Regi kanina, asked him if he knew any flats for rent on the West. Meron nga siya alam, okay na okay na ako dun sa kinuwento nya. HDB lang, 1 room for 800 sgd. Baka meh alam pa keyu, anywhere basta sa West, yung Green Line ng MRT. mag-go-google nga ako mamaya. No internet here sa office pa. huhu.

(asa isip ko.. one half sabi ko eh!) dapat "half kilo" lang sabihin mo. sabi ko kela Anshe, pano pag 1/4? lolz. "250 grams" dapat hehe. sabihin ko kaya, "Uncle, 163 grams!" dapat eksakto uh.

Hirap talagang gumising parin, i worked out a schedule that entails us to leave 30 minutes later than usual harhar. big deal na ano? basta maabutan ko yung bus which arrives at quarter to 9, darating ako ng office ng 9:05am. no one notices pa na i'm late kasi nakahiwalay nga ako ng workstation. Buti na lang. Buti na lng din Pasko sa monday, dahil no pasok! yahooey. Can't wait to start sleeping hehe. So ang nabunot ko sa KrisKringle namin is "sandals size 10 or t-shirt (L)".. 20dollar lang
ang budget namin uh, parang wala akong makitang na 20dollar sandals. Kelangan sale ang mapuntahan ko eh, yun lang pag-asa kong makakita nun. anyway, kung wala, t-shirt na lang.

...first and second day

elow! so happy to report that my officemates are pretty nice and that i have not been eating lunch by myself, harhar. that's like my biggest fear whenever it's my first time in a new company, feeling highschool.

okay, so first day, right at the gate where i still had to give an ID to security, a Pinoy (let's call him Kuya J.. i'm not going to say names na sa blog, kasi sa dating kong company, nagoogle nila blog ko eh! wahahah!) talked to me and said "applicant ka? interview?" tas sabi ko: "Ay, first day po!" tas sabi ni Kuya J.."uy, okey! May Pinoy dyan! matutuwa ka!" syempre katuwa diba hehe. So medyo nakangiti ako pagpasok sa office kasi meh friendly face kagad.

Sobrang antok ko nung first day kasi binigyan lang ako ng manual para basahin. Tapos ngayon, nakapwesto ako malayo sa mga ka-team mates kow. as in! meh stairs na pababa tsaka elevator between our areas. Tapos, ako lang mag-isa dun! wahahaha. sabi nga nila "You so lonely there-lah!" hehe korek. Nung mga 12pm na, pagkagaling ko sa CR, inapproach ako ni Kuya j, sabi saken "oh, san ka maglulunch?" syempre sabi ko "ay, hindi ko pa po alam" sabay sabi nya saken "teka, meh baon kasi ako eh pero kung ala sasamahan kita" tapos pinuntahan nya yung chinese na si ms.M at binilin na samahan ako maglunch. hahaha, nahiya ako ng konti pero super grateful. Bali nakasama ko nung first day ko si Ms. M na chinese, Ms. P na indian tsaka si Ms. V na pinoy. Yun ang una kong napansin, meh tendency kasi pag asa ibang bansa na magsamasama yung lahi diba? Samen, dinidiscourage talaga yung magkumpol kumpol ng ganun. Okey na rin, sabi saken ng manager ko, dapat daw lumabas ako sa comfort level pag ganon, kasi isang team lang naman daw kami. Okey, fine hehe. Anyway, bait nila, kwento sila, try kong maintindihan pero hirap talaga ng accent. Sana masanay na ako. After lunch, basa (kunwari) na naman ako, try kong intindihin pero nakakatulog talaga ako. Dumadaan minsan saken si Ms. E yung Admin, very nice din siya and very helpful. Sinamahan nya ako sa parang security building ek ek para kumuha ng temporary pass. Nung mga 3pm, dumaan yung isa pang pinoy si S. Hay, buti na lang kungdi nakatulog na talaga ako. Siya yung 2nd pinoy na nag approach saken (si Ms. V doesn't count kasi ako lumapit sa kanya eh heheh) tapos konting kwento about sa company. Tapos umuwi na ako. Maaga akong nakauwi, mga 5, paalam ako keh bossing dahil kukunin ko pa yung EP card ko, pumayag naman!

ay onga pala, they have their own canteen, ang mura by singapore standards! 1.8 sgd for meat+veggie and rice and fruit. oha, sabi ko keh Pangs, mas mura bumili, kesa mag baon! sabi naman ng mga pinoy S and P, give it daw a month and a half, magsasawa din daw ako ehehe.

Today was better because I was able to shadow some of the team members. Si S, tinuruan ako ng isang module, tapos after lunch tinuruan naman ako ni H. Dapat si H(chinese) magtuturo saken kaya lang meh ticket siya so si S ang pinaturo nya saken. Okey na rin kasi since pinoy si S, Pag meh tanong ako hindi mashado nakakahiya kapag stupid question hehe! Nakasabay ko sa lunch si S tsaka si P, fil-chinese naman. Both are friendly! so katuwa! Meh isa pang Pinoy si R, pero hindi ko pa nakakausap mashado. dumadami na nga daw kami eh hehe. si P tsaka si R, filchinese so hindi halata na pinoy sila pero pag nagsalita na, hindi mo makakaila hehe. Pinoy through and through.

So there. medyo kakalito kwento ko hehe, pasensya. pero bottom line is, so far, so good. tomorrow, dun daw muna ako upo sa area nila dun sa pwesto ng mga nakaleave para hindi naman daw ako malungkot dun hehe!

wooohoo! okey, okey,.. i'm not a certified fan of Sam but i DID find him cute when he was still at PBB and natatawa ako pag nakikipaglandian si Toni keh Sam sa TV, while she was hosting PBB tas iniinterview nya si Sam. Nakakatawa kasi talaga si Toni hehe. Anyway, i watched Close To You kahapon, (rating: 2.5 out of 5) tas etong You are the One today. Nagustuhan ko!! hahaha. I remember when this was showing, 2 officemate kong lalake ang nanood nito (they blamed it on their parents, friends, etc.) and surprise surprise, they both said that they liked it. Ang sexy pa daw ni Toni. Now, after watching it myself, i have to agree! ang sexy nga ni Toni! lol! Lalo na nung sumasayaw siya nung nakashorts siya hahaha. Pero gwabe. dito ko lang ulit nagustuhan si Sam. ang cute nya. eheheh. I liked the pacing of the movie, mas nagustuhan ko toh kesa sa Til I met You (actually, kung i-re-rate ko yung Til I met you, 3 out of 5 lng siguro). Maganda pacing, maganda yung storyline. I mean, it's not THAT original, pero i liked yung initial istorya, yung Consult siya tas taga NSO siya. I can EVEN forgive the song and dance sequence,.. it's that good!! Unlike yung Close To You, totally don't get bakit maiinlove kagad yung si Lance keh.. forgot her name, basta yung character ni Bea. Hello, kahit meh history kayo, isang araw pa lang keyu ulit nagkita noh. Tas mahal na mahal kagad. Mas realistic yung pacing nitong You are the One. Tas meh chemistry talaga tong si Toni and Sam. Hindi ako updated sa chismis uh, last I heard, ang gusto na daw ni Sam si Anne Curtis, or something like that. All I can say is .. SAYANG! hahaha. apektado aku. I like them together. hihihi.

Yun lang. I was supposed to get my medical exam today, ang aga pa naming nagising. I was totally ignorant of the fact that there was a time specified in my release form, it said, "4-5pm". D e m m i t. I called the hospital, and they said the earliest I could get it was 3pm. Oh Well. (stupiid). Kaya heto ako, nakahabihis na, pero okey na rin. At least nakanood pa ako ng movie. bwahahaha. Baka nagiging Kapamilya na ako uh. wahahaha. Ala kasing movies yung Kapuso eh.

Yun muna. Ano pa ba magandang panoorin. pinanood ko nga rin pala ibang clips ni Sarah G. Magaling nga talaga siya Harbie. Napanood mo ba yung clip nung nanalo siya sa Star for a Night. Kakaiyak. Parang pampelikula. Kasi kasama nya si Sharon, si Regine tas kinakanta nya yung Bituin walang Ningning. hahaha. (ay tama ba,basta Sharon song).

...pacman

no, it's not news about pacquiao. ehehe. ginaya ko lang si harbie, pinangalanan ko yung bago "kong" gadget. (evil laugh insert: mwaaaaahahahaha) meron na akong este kaming laptop! we still don't know if we could afford it (l o l) but its here. yaan mo na, 24 months to pay naman eh hehe. we bought something sa gitna, not that expensive. Pacman kasi it's a Compaq Presario v3000 series. (Actually, it's japanese, don't ask why, so its Pacman-san) I'm not so sure about the specs (let's leave that to the husband) but i know it's a core 2 duo processor 1.8ghz with 1 GB of memory and a 100 gb of HD. i don't know the rest. but i do know i liked it the first time i saw it. we were supposed to buy a PC but changed our mind with this. Nadala kami sa pogi aspects hehe. Pangs still wants a Lenny (hehe sorry harbie, lenny na lagi tawag ko pag nakakakita ako ng Lenovo) pero hindi ko kasi feel yung itsura ng thinkpad. I'm still weirded out by the layout of the keys, pero lamnyo naman ako, basta makakadownload ako ng mp3, makakapanood ng youtube, makakapag YM (basically, mag INTERNET! ehehe) masaya na ako. We were supposed to buy the cheaper, AMD Turion one, but i don't know, umabot din kasi ng 1.7k dun eh with 200 bucks more, core 2 duo na kami so napunta kami dito. Pangs also got a deal for a laptop backpack so he doesn't have to carry his ugly thinkpad leather (smelly) case. And pinagbabaon ko na si Pangs.. magbabaon na siya for 2 years, l o l.

yun lang muna. i think mas mapapadalas na pagblog ko dahil dito. kasi pag uwi ni raymond with his laptop, i usually watch my japanese stuff. into japanese series na ako ngayon. I've watched Kurosagi, Nobuta wo Produce and currently yung Hana Yori Dango (yung meteor garden, pero japanese), kakatuwa. Meh kinakaadiktan na naman ako.

And nakanood kami ng House MD, yung third season, updated na kami. (Damn u Wilson!) tapos Heroes syempre (tanong ko lang keh harbs.. pano nabreak ni Silar yung glass? dahil ba ala yung negro?) tsaka bakit sasabog si Peter? ehehe.

...jobless no more

yeheyyyyyyyyy! i'm no longer a bum!!! today was my second interview. after getting home, i got a call an hour after from my agent. Turns out I got the job! I went to my agent, signed the job offer (atat, ano? haha!) and submitted my employment pass requirements. I'll start work once my EP is approved. So probably, in a couple of weeks or so. One more hurrah for the job... Hurrah!!!

My bum days are a little bit different everyday.. sometimes I'd enjoy it, sometimes I'll be so bored. But all in all, i still feel that the hours go by quickly. Here's my daily bum sched:. wake up at around 8ish/9ish to kiss my Pangs good bye. (I usually do this with my eyes still closed, sometimes I would think I was only dreaming ehehe) then really get up at 10:30am. i would consider eating something. if i won't eat, i'll wait a little while longer, so brunch na. then it varies, if there are clothes to be washed, i'll dump them in the machine. if none, i watch the one channel in TV, if nothing's good, i go down the building and watch the people at the playground and gym. (oh btw, there's a mini gym infront of our HDB, it's really cool. it basically has all the needed equipment for you to get a full workout. i guess, except the treadmill, but there's something similar, something where you can glide/swing your legs to) then i sleep until 4:30 pm. Then I walk to the nearest hawker and supermarket and get stuff that i would need for our dinner. Then at around 5:30 i'll start preparing and cooking our dinner. Then our housemates arrive one by one at around 7ish, we'll eat, watch, chika. if it's a friday night, we usually play poker and pusoy dos. ayun. diba ang bilis ehehe. more so siguro kung meh cable kami. that'll be my first luho. cable, that is. woohoo can't wait.

hope everything goes well.. you know, my EP gets approved and all that. we'll probably move, so that i can be nearer to my job. Asa dulo siya ng daigdig ngayon eh. I travel for 1 1/2 hours from Pasir Ris to the Client in Boon Lay. Imagine that, alang traffic eh. 1 hour sa MRT and half an hour sa bus. grabeeeeh. so far-lah. Pati sila Uncle, paminsan ndi alam kung san yung client pag nagtataxi ako ehehe. So we're thinking of moving to the West. Dati balak namin na lumipat with Anshe and Ilo. Kung Redhill/Commonwealth siguro, baka pumayag sila. Baka masapok kami pag lumipat kami sa Boon Lay mismo hahaha. So we'll see. February pa naman yun eh. Kasi once a month lang sweldo dito, kaya more than likely, Feb pa kami makakalipat. Plus there's the one month advance, one month deposit and agent's fee (one whole month's rent worth) that we'll have to consider once we move to a new flat. Still, I'm excited. Wee! Can't wait.

pow is out huhuhuhu. sabi ko nga eh, kung kelan ala na ako sa Pinas, matatanggal siya. hindi ko man lang siya napanood ng live huhuhuh. hope i haven't seen the last of her. there are rumors circulating that a major network has expressed their interest on her, after her contract with PI. sana totoo nga. to POW, wag ka na maiyak, marami kang napaligaya! she gave such an emotional speech nung natanggal siya, waaah napaiyak na talaga ako. sabi nya something to the effect of: "hindi ko akalaing tatanggapin ninyo ang isang katulad ko. hindi ako sumasali ng contests nga dahil dito, pero sumali ako kasi gusto kong kumanta"

ei, sorry ngayon lang ako nagparamdam. it's my 2nd week now in SG, so far, okey naman. ang init dito-lah! mas mainit pa saten. i've been to one interview pa lang, kinakabahan na talaga ako. sana makahanap na ako ng work. parang nahihirapan talaga ako, ala kasi akong .NET experience, hay. bahala na. meanwhile, ako nagluluto samen hehe. so pinagtsatsagaan ng 4 na tao ang niluluto ko. good luck sa kanila, diba? l o l.

happy ako na magkasama na kami ni raymond. haaaay. kung pwede lang actually, wag na akong magtrabaho, okey lang din ahahaha. (tago keh raymond) medyo weird lang dito sa bahay kasi meh kashare kami, tas ang taas ng PUB (utility bills) nila last month, so meh konting issue with the housemates, pero sana maresolve din.

Ryan A asked her like what could she have done differently in her performance.. she looked really hurt and she didn't know what to say! She was like *big pause here*..ahmm.. i'm not perfect. every time i perform, i just give my best. (waaaaah insert wail here) I hope i'll be given a chance to REINVENT myself.

The reinvent comment is what truly, truly pisses me off. What more does Mr. C want when he said this to POW after her Got to Be Real performance? She already did Usher, she's awesome doing OPM ballad songs, now she's showing she has the moves with this performance. (will post the video below) she was the only one who was all out sa dancing na hindi na-off ang pagkanta. arrrggghh. naiinis na talaga ako sa kanya. Doesn't he know that he's affecting the sway voters? bwisit. kawawa si POW. I don't want her to gooooo. It's not only her singing, it's her personality that's totally endearing. After her performance last night, where she gave this awesome rendition of Nakapagtataka (on the new IDOL CD), waaaaah napaiyak talaga ako. (ibang level na rin ako. lol)

Bottom 3 was Ken, (my) POW (haha) and Apple,.. si Apple natanggal. When Ryan A. said.. "Ur safe.. POW chavez" i let out a big hoot which scandalized my parents hehe. ("HOYYYY ang ingay mo!") and then it was between Ken and Apple and I thought just for a teeny second that Ken-the-feathered-boa-gay-guy will be the one ousted and I was friggin happy for that short span of time. Pero its Apple, pwede na rin siya. I don't like her too.

Pano yaaaaaaaan next week hindi na ako makakapanood. Vero kaw na lang pag-asa ko, pag aralan mo pano mag upload sa Youtube! lol! buong show uh! hahaha!

yesterday, met up with my Pre-com Kada, the newlywed erlyn, joy and tenten. its so good to see old friends talaga.


i'm feeling kinda under the weather lately. i dunno why,..i mean, ala akong sipon or ubo.. basta meh lagnat lang. so weird. i still have to report to work until tomorrow. katamad na!

Philippine Idol kahapon! oooh, am so scared for POW. I dunno what's up with Mr. C dissing her. Her performance was totally great! and for them to praise Jan? WTF were they thinking? They should watch Jan's performance again on tape. Siguro, iba ang vibe sa studio, nadala lang sila ng studio audience pero he was totally off key. My sister and I couldn't even look at the TV during his performance! We were cringing and everything, kami ang nahihiya para sa kanya. He wasn't in tune and the dancing was horrible. Totally not Ricky martin, more on William Hung! argggh. So awful. If Simon Cowell was the judge, he'd say "poor imitation. complete and utter mess!"

I was pleasantly suprised with Regine Tolentino, though. Definitely had doubts with her credibility as a guest judge, but she was really insightful and articulate. Quote for the night: (To Miguel) - "Meron lang 2 moves dun na parang.. ay, pa-girl" (something like that).. too funny!!! Miguel should've said in the slumbook portion.. "Miguel in one word?... GAY!" BWAHAHAH. so gay talaga.

I'm liking Gian more and more na. I didn't vote for him because I was so scared for POW, so puro POW lang vote ko. I told my sister she should vote for GIAN. (I think she did) If POW goes out, (please, wag muna!) keh GIAN naman ako. He was great last night too. I don't like Robbie Williams but I loooved his Rock DJ version. He was sooo hot! hot hot hot. ang gwapo ni GIAN. What was Aiza Marquez thinking? haha!

Results night, tonight. hmm.. sana si Miguel matanggal! (ASA pa ako!) feeling ko si POW eh huhuhu wag sana. Pwede na ring si Apple ang matanggal!

...wasted time

yeah.

so i thought i would be able to finally load up my vision w with videos with my downloaded dvd converter. i spent the whoooole weekend converting the whoooole season 2 of LOST. I thought i was THE bomb because of that. soooo stupid! Why didn't I notice the signs that i will be one huuuge failure?

Sign # 1: it only had an average size of 70mb per episode. (wtf was i thinking?)
Sign # 2: the time it took for me to convert an "episode" was only 45 minutes. (WTFFFFFFFFF was i thinking?)
Sign # 3: i had a TRIAL version of the converter.

I should've known from previous experience that a whole episode would be about 300 mb AND conversion time was about 4 hours. d`oh! *wapaks sarili*

and you know what's even funnier? i only discovered this TODAY. just friggin today when i was watching "Over the Hedge" (yahhh, nagconvert pa ako ng "3" movies) and just when i was completely into the movie and trying to control my friggin laugh at the shuttle, the movie ended. I was like "meh napindot ba ako?" then i noticed that ALL my videos had "00:10:00" as its duration. akala ko ata 10 hours yun. L E C H E. i wanted to cry and throw out my player but the thought of Pangs saying "i told you so" stopped me. Pangs told me to check it. I did friggin check it! I checked each one for about 10 seconds. l o l. L E C H E again.

Anyhoo, I will try to move on and NOT think about our MERALCO bill (i did say i was converting the whole weekend right?) and all that wasted effort. (but its soooooooooo hard. huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)

In Philippine Idol, looks like ABC-5 is reading a couple of PI blogs because they have listened to their miniscule fans and shortened the voting time period for 2 hours (similar to AI) to attempt control over the rich-relatives-texting-brigade. Jeli said bye-bye yesterday, i was so pleasantly surprised. POW was AGAIN at the bottom 4 (which i totally predicted) but was saved, TG. because of the two-hour voting period, I had to text my fingers-off without waiting for any confirmation text so imagine being woken up til the wee hours of the morning by my mobile phone because the confirmation texts were finally being received. i was like, "how many did i friggin text?" L O L. I'm voting for a new Idol hopeful too, its Gian with his rendition of Superstar. Ang galing! ang gwapo pala nya. ehehehe. so gooo Gian and Pow! it was so funny at our house during the results show, we were all so nervous. Mom let out a big shout when Gian was declared safe and i was cringing on my seat when POW was at the bottom 2 of one group. Katawa si Daddy. He said "Bakit si Jeli natanggal, binoto ko yan eh!" I was like "watda? nagtext ka?" Dad said "Oo, Jeli to 2339 diba?" L O L. I said "Kaya natalo! kasi binoto mo! ngayon lang naging bottom yan eh. malas ka!" L O L. In fairness to Jeli, she did make a better performance than POW but I still don't like her.

Kay POW naman,.. namen, namen POW.. gandahan mo naman song choice mo please? *sighs* sayang tinetext ko sayu, and hirap na ako magdefend sa forum seyu. L O L. not to mention defending my choice to my parents. I was like "prejudiced lang kayo kasi tibo siya!!!" bwahahaha.

Another thing I did in the weekend (while waiting for my friggin 10 minute videos. pak talaga) was Princess Hours. It's another korean series that I just love! i love it na. And so does my Dad, hehe. It's about a student whose grandfather got in a pact with the emperor because the grandfather saved the emperor's life or something like that. The emperor said, that the grandfather's apo will marry his apo, the crowned prince. So the girl only knew about that when the Emperor's Palace contacted them and her fairy tale life started. Syempre, hindi lang tungkol dun, daming twists which I am just too lazy to tell so just get the DVD and watch the series. and Syempre ulit, mas gwapo na naman ang 2nd lead na lalake. Always and forever na lang sa koreanovela. *sighs* We're still on the 12th episode, sana my dad doesn't continue watching it without me (asa pa ako.) here's the cute cast:




ooh, and i've got a flash report. as in ngayon ko lang nalaman, kainish. Erlyn's married na. to coocoo. sabi ko nga keh Erlyn.. "does this mean we can't diss him na?" lol. ni hindi ko nga alam na SILA ulit eh, let alone married. so, congrats na lang and i truly hope he makes you happy. (kasi kung hindi, sasabihin ko keh Sis joy ituloy yung request mo dati!)
